Forklift Rentals are often a fiscally responsible alternative to buying

Admit it. You like to get the best deal in town, right? Who doesn’’t? That is why we went into the heavy equipment rental business so we can get you the best price on forklifts by doing all the dirty work with contacting your local vendors.

When renting, it is best to make your reservation a few months in advance – versus calling in the day before your big project. That way our rental experts can make sure the equipment is ready and available to help alleviate delays on your end and to take that last minute stress off your plate. You should also keep in mind that renting heavy equipment has become more popular over the recent years and there will be times when the heavy equipment you need may not be available in your surrounding areas which why it is imperative to plan ahead!

Before renting a forklift, consider how you will be using the forklift. Forklifts with cushion tires are ideal for smooth pavements, preferably indoor, and warehouses with concrete flooring. Cushion tire forklifts have smaller chassis and sit much lower to the ground versus pneumatic forklifts.

For outdoor use like lumber yards and recycling centers, consider a forklift with pneumatic tires – they are similar to the tires that are on a car. Pneumatic tires that are “solid” are made of solid rubber and can handle the extra rough terrains. However, the pneumatic tires that have air are best used outdoors on asphalt that is free of sharp objects that can potentially puncture the tires.
